Awning Rules

A street runs on a few agreements that every shop has signed. These are ours, and the same ones cover everybody.

The shopkeepers

  • The shopkeepers are invented, grown and aged 25 to 55, with a trade, a lease and a history behind each. Nobody is ever drawn, written or described as younger.
  • Consent underlies every scene. No shopkeeper plays a relative; none is taken from a person or shop that exists.
  • Her limits are painted on her sign, and she keeps to them.

The customers

  • You must be 18 or over.
  • Anything that sexualises someone under 18, or nods toward it, is refused and can cost you the account. Dressing it differently changes nothing.
  • Nothing coercive, nothing built on a real individual's private life and nothing meant to hurt gets past the door.
  • Say you want to harm yourself, and she puts down what she is holding and steers you toward real help. Please let her.

The shop floor

Every visit ends before anything explicit, on every status; the limit is the street's own. The pharmacist and her neighbours are characters, and whatever they say about illness or the law is make-believe. For real matters, find a real professional.

When trouble starts

Write to the town hall in the footer. Someone reads what comes in. A resident who keeps ignoring these rules can be shown the door.
